About Jady

Jady's story:
From a young age, Jady had an interest in making art. At three years old, she was inspired by a local art show, and proceeded to make a series of drawings of women with long bodies, long hands and long feet. She sold two of the drawings at the art show to friends and family for a Tooney each. At five years old, she decided that she wanted to learn how to make bracelets. So I bought her the silk floss to make bracelets and then she proceeded to make 100 the first weekend she learned how. The following week she went to the local café and asked the owner if she could sell them. The owner agreed. From there on every few months she would create and make something different in large quantities, and then sell these wears at the café.
Under the age of 10, she had already been a live performance artist doing arm crochet, as well as she had created her own art show entitled "storm flowers".
During this same time, she had perfected the art of Balloon Twisting. I remember when she was nine years old and she had set herself up to go outside and walk the street at a local event and sell her balloons. She was very successful and at that same event, she met a woman who was scouting for a party booking company and that is how she started off professionally. 
Over the years. she has continued to improve her skills such that at this point she is one of the highest level balloon artist in the GTA. Jady can create almost any type of balloon structure or Design as long as she has enough time.
Soon, Jady will be going off to university, however, this career choice has made it possible for her to continue to work on the weekends. She will still be able to spread joy to many children, even though she will be continuing her learning in a different direction.
